"Rensselaer Catholic Youth Ministry" is the title of our group. We are a team of adults and students interested in promoting our faith through study, word & deed. We are a passionate group committed to expanding our concept of Church. Over the past several years we have sponsored local retreats and a Confirmation retreat in our nation's capitol. We have attended World youth day in foreign countries and experienced Church on an international level. We present the "Passion of the Lord" each year through narration, music and mime. This year we will come together for faith formation in our new quarters at the McManus Center, which includes classrooms, office space, youth lounge and soon to be dedicated new chapel/worship space. To be able to pray together in an area large enough to accommodate all of us was a dream for many years, and it has now come to fruition. |
